Public Works
In 1938 the Works Progress Administration and Village of Tivoli approved
funding for the installation of a municipal water and waster-water
system. The original water-tower stands prominently over the village.
While distribution of potable drinking water and management of a
waste-water treatment system is by far the most critical, Tivoli’s
Department of Public Works is responsible for managing many areas of our
municipal services:
-
Water & Waste-water Treatment
-
Curbside Solid Waste &
Recyclable Collection
-
Parks, Trails & Grounds Maintenance
-
Oversight of Municipal Buildings &
Lands
-
Streets,
Sidewalk
and Drainage
